Coral Gables

Casual Chic

When remodeling this spectacular contemporary Coral Gables residence, the clients were receptive to our design recommendations for creating chic, yet casual livable spaces.

The architectural details throughout the home from the ceiling design, built-ins, and modern wall moldings leading up the grand staircase create an impactful narrative in the design. The living room with a large mirror reflects utter sophistication in the combination of bright white finishes, gray and black marble and warm wood tones.

The space feels approachable and elegant where the decor is curated showcasing the personality of the home.  A moment in the hallway displays a selection of decor with a bench that completes the understated feel of the space, all the while continuing the design appeal as seen throughout the rest of the home.  At the foot of the staircase, we opted for a Windsor bench in black to contrast with the stark white walls.

A selection of vases speak to the two art pieces; the  runner adds contrast and draws the eye across the room to the wooded console with a trio of split mirrors flanked by minimal sconces in black. In the primary bedroom, a minimal style design with low profile bed by Casa Desus, Maxalto nightstands and Louis Pulsen lighting are calming, setting the tone for a relaxing setting.
